Accolade Electronics — Comprehensive Energy Audit

Maharashtra · 2025

Accolade Electronics manufacturing plant exterior — embedded, automotive, EV and IoT hardware

We carried out a detailed energy audit for a modern electronics manufacturing facility specialising in embedded systems, automotive electronics, EV solutions, ADAS, IoT devices, and industrial automation products. The assessment covered the plant's complete electrical infrastructure, utilities, HVAC systems, compressed air network, lighting, power quality, and renewable energy opportunities to identify practical measures for reducing energy consumption and operating costs.

The engineering study identified several high-impact improvement opportunities — optimisation of HVAC air distribution and ventilation systems to significantly reduce cooling energy consumption; detailed power quality analysis covering harmonics, current imbalance, and power factor, with recommendations for detuned APFC systems and harmonic mitigation; and evaluation of compressed air systems to identify efficiency improvements and eliminate unnecessary energy losses.

Additional workstreams covered the design of an IoT-based Energy Monitoring System (EMS) for real-time monitoring, benchmarking, reporting, and continuous energy optimisation; a rooftop solar PV feasibility assessment to offset grid electricity consumption and reduce long-term operating costs; and a plant-wide roadmap for improving electrical reliability, equipment life, and overall system efficiency.

The audit included detailed measurements, load analysis, energy benchmarking, financial feasibility studies, and return-on-investment calculations for each recommended project. Every proposal was supported with estimated energy savings, implementation costs, payback periods, and environmental impact assessments to help management prioritise investments.

This engagement highlights our expertise in delivering end-to-end industrial energy audits that combine electrical engineering, process optimisation, power quality analysis, automation, and sustainability strategies to improve operational efficiency while reducing energy costs and carbon emissions.
